VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
TO BE FILLED BY CO-OPTION
Following the cessation of membership of Mr G Case under section 85 of the Local Government Act 1972, a vacancy has arisen for a Parish Councillor.
If you would like to be involved in trying to improve services and facilities and the future planning of our Parish, the opportunity has arisen to join our small Parish Council mid-term. You will need to provide a personal statement of why you think you would be good for the role, with the possibility of an interview depending on how many people apply.
We meet every other month, so 6 times a year, at either Northend Village Hall or the meeting room at The Bull and Butcher, Turville Village.
The remainder of the Council’s current term is until May 2019, where the co-opted Councillor would be eligible to stand for re-election for a further 4 year term.
